The Tecsesti Piers (Cheile Tecşeştilor) – natural national protected area; on the Cetea Valley, between 750 and 1150 meters high, close to Întregalde village, 5 hectares; they have steep rocks (Jurassic limestone piers and cretaceous formations) covered mostly with vegetation (beech, hornbeam, birch tree, bushes, eglantines, blackberry, grassland; Siberian Iris, liverworts, red fescue, wind grass); also lent lilies glades, national protected areas)
The Roman Baths of Cetea (Băile Romane de la Cetea) – the popular name comes from the natives, it represents a series of four waterfalls of different sizes, having small lakes of running water on their base; hollows in the rocks (marmite) are less known landmarks; the waterfalls have a 35 de meters slope, 50 meters long, heights between 3 and 10 meters; the largest one can be passed only with special equipment.
The Cetea Piers (Cheile Cetii) – formed on the intersection of Cetea Valley and a limestone block, sectioned after erosion in four „stones”, known as: Sandiţău (on the left), then, on the right – ”the Sasa Stone” (Piatra Saşa) – it looks like a tales giant severed its top, ”Ţicuiata” – having a “bump” on its peak and ”Măriuţa” (Little Mary); the area is preferred by those who like to paddle in a canoe.
The Bulz Stone (Piatra Bulzului) – geological reservation, a limestone block in shape of a sharp ridge, 71 meters high, dominating the Poiana Galdei village; in the South East of the Trascau Mountains, on the middle flow of Galda river, 941 m altitude; covered with forests and grasslands; area of 0.12 ha; the limestone peak is 200 m long and 60 m wide.
The Cetea Stone (Piatra Cetii) – national protected area (geological şi lansdscape), 75 hectares, on the West part of the Trascău Mountains, at the border of villages Întregalde, Galda de Jos and Stremţ, West of Răicani village. Here you will find steep rocks (Jurassic limestone, marna, tiles and Cretaceous conglomerates); forests, meadows and grassland. The legend of Decebal`s death is connected to this stone.
The Galda Piers (Cheile Gălzii) – natural reservation (3 ha), located in the Eastern part of the Trascău Mountains; altitude 350-700 meters; on the inferior course of Galda Valley, between two villages – Galda de Sus and Poiana Galdei; landscape with steep ridges, towers, lapis, niches, shelves or scree; psalterium forests (beech, oak tree, birch, hazelnut tree, ash), meadows and rocks.
The Natural Reservation Intregalde Piers – geological reserve (25 ha, 1.5 km long) located in the east-central part of the Trascău Mountains; part of the natural gate system that crosses the limestone massif of Ciumera –Bedeleu peak; spectacular relief, with towers, porches, scree cones, series of walls and beams with grass; you can find here many rare species of plants, including Edelweiss (here, it grows at the lowest altitude in Europe, aprox 600 m); the easy access and beautiful landscape make this natural reserve a very important landmark of the Trascau area.
